The Lionhearts vision has developed through the friendship of Christian men who share a hunger for a more adventurous life with God. Together, through a shared love of the great outdoors, a developing openness and accountable friendships, they have embarked on an exciting and challenging journey into the adventure God has prepared for each of them.
Nick spent his early working life teaching outdoor pursuits, working in Scotland, the South West and Turkey. More recently he ran sponsored expeditions for Saltmine where he climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro and has spent the last 4 years managing an adventure sailing organisation called Morning Star Trust. Nick gave up his job in September 2006 to set up Lionhearts.
Mike is a successful businessman who co-founded and owns a national health and fitness franchise company, a publishing company and licensing including food, electrical and fitness products. An adventurer by nature, he has partcipated in cycling and sailing challenges, including the Biscay Challenge. In 2004, he trekked to the North Pole.
Mike started out in outdoor education and then trained as a Paramedic working for the London Ambulance Service. Mike currently serves as an Emergency Care Practitioner. He has volunteered with SOS Bosnia driving medical supplies to Kosovo and Albania. Interests: motorbikes.
The original founding team has been supplemented by a board of trustees and a growing network of facilitators.
